Rhubarb Crumble
Ingredients
Topping
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup oats
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 6 Tablespoons melted butter
- Pinch of salt
Fruit
- 2 pounds chopped rhubarb
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Heat the oven to 375° F.
To make the topping, combine all the topping ingredients in a bowl and mix until it forms large crumbles. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a square baking dish. Scatter the crumbled topping over the fruit and bake for 45 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
